Marengo Fire and Rescue serves the city of Marengo and the townships of Coral, Riley, and Seneca — 106 square miles.

Harvard FPD covers 108.5 square miles of northwest McHenry County, serving Harvard, Chemung, Lawrence, and the surrounding rural areas.

Union FPD serves the village of Union and surrounding rural McHenry County, and is one of the county’s last all-volunteer departments.

Woodstock Fire/Rescue District covers 82.5 square miles of central McHenry County, protecting Woodstock and roughly 40,000 residents.
